The European polypropylene market continued
to be long in week 7 of July, with prices continuing their downward trend. The market was dominated by
a gloomy mood. Many participants said that there had been no changes in the
overall outlook, despite the recent decline in the contract price of key
feedstock propylene. July propylene CPs
settled at Eur1,480-1,500/mt. This is a decrease of Eur120-130/mt from June
levels. Buyers continue to challenge
