8050/mt was the lower price for East China's domestic market, 125 mt less than
the week before. This is ahead of the Golden Week holidays. Since last week's peak, the upward price momentum has slowed.
This is due to the dissipation of sentiment-driven buying and poor downstream
demand. Chinese PP futures fell on Sept.
21 due to expectations of higher supply. Sources said that major Chinese
producers had been heard saying they would increase their refinery outputs
