over the week to close at Yuan 8,300-8,500/mt. Although prices had
recovered earlier in the week following slipping below the Yuan 8,400 mark late
last week, the Chinese prompt domestic cargoes fell by Yuan 150-200/mt on the
week to close at Yuan 8,300-8,500/mt. However, a drop in crude oil prices
caused Chinese futures for PP to plunge substantially on the day of July 6.
