Asian Price Point: China falls, but prices in the rest of

polypropylene market. The Chinese market experienced a softening, while other
Asian markets saw an increase. Yuan
7,950/mt was the closing price for East China's domestic prices. This is 200/mt
less than last week. The CFR FE Asia grade
raffia traded in the $940-$950/mt area during the last few sessions. Sources say that CFR cargoes have been boosted by relatively
higher prices on the east China domestic market. However, the China-Southeast
Asia spread is narrowing, which has triggered an increase in South
Korean-origin cargoes. One source based in
