South Asian polypropylene prices fell in the week ended July 9, led by higher supply amid easing demand in the largest South Asian consumer, India. PP raffia/injection grade down $10/mt from the last assessment at $955/mt CFR South Asia July 9, below the lowest offer heard and corroborated at $960/mt CFR South Asia, above the highest bid at $940/mt and within tradable indications heard at $950-$960/mt. Trade sources based in India said they were hearing a lot of offers, both Middle East- and China-origin, and most of them at similar levels.
