Market sources reported that the South Asian polypropylene markets eased even further during the week ending April 30, as the buying activity on the import side remained low, and indications on the sell-side became more competitive. They also noted that the demand in India was moderate. The PP raffia/injection grades at $950/mt, CFR South Asia is down $10/mt compared to the previous week. Selling indications and tradable indicators were both at this level. This assessment was above a $920/mt buy idea. Buyers gave some indications of selling at $940 to $950/mt but these could not be confirmed by the market.
