South Asian PP prices fall amid slow import activity Source / Most BOPP demand is met locally: Sources

Market sources reported that South Asian polypropylene price eased slightly in the week ending April 23, amid slow trade on the import market. Buyers remained cautious due to the uncertain economic environment. The PP raffia/injection at $960/mt F.R.S.A. is stable from week to week. This is despite tradable indicators heard between $960 and $970/mt F.R.S.A., the highest buy idea of $950/mt as well as the lowest corroborated sale indication at $965/mt. Market sources say participants are waiting for new offers next week. This week there were few deals. The demand for all PP grades are robust.
