Asian Propylene prices stable; South Korea closed for Memorial Day / Fundamentals of supply-demand balance Participants who are on the sidelines and have little motivation to buy or sale

On June 6, Asian propylene was mostly stable, with fundamentals of supply and demand mostly balanced. Export-import prices were not changed, as South Korea was closed for Memorial Day. The majority of market participants remained on the sidelines, with little motivation to buy or sell. CFR China and FOB Korean prices were unchanged on 6th June, at $775/mt et $745/mt respectively. Sources said that China's propylene weekly operating rate increased marginally from 74.28% to 74.32% in May 29. CFR Taiwan was down $5/mt from week to week on the weekly market at $770/mt, below a sale indication of around $775/mt. A buyer reported that the selling indication for domestic Taiwan ex-tanks supplies was around $750/mt. On June 6, the FOB Japan mark was unchanged week-over-week at $750/mt. No new buy/sell...
