Asian Propylene prices mostly lower on week / FOB Korea stable; other markers weaker on week / Mixed demand-supply fundamentals in Asia

The Asian propylene price ranged from stable to lower on March 28. CFR East China's marker fell to $825/mt/day, while FOB Korea's marker remained at $800/mt/day. FOB Japan was down $5/mt to $795/mt. This is despite discussions about the marker being below FOB Korea, at $800/mt or FOB Taiwan, at $800-810/mt. CFR Taiwan and CFR Southeast Asia were both $10/mt lower than the previous week, at $830/mt each. No firm offers or bids were made on CFR east China, although there were a few buying indications at $820/mt. On March 28, domestic ex-tank price in China was mixed. Shandong fell on the day to Yuan 6,700/mt. A wide range of buysell prices were discussed, ranging from Yuan 6,000/mt up to Yuan 6750/mt. East China was steady at Yuan 6,850/mt. Sources...
