China prompt domestic cargoes remained steady at Yuan 8,650/mt. The Labour Day holiday
slowed Chinese PP market activity. However, logistical issues caused by
COVID-19 lockdowns at key cities such as Shanghai, Beijing and Shanghai led to
bearishness. A trader said that Shanghai's
port is congested and the spill over has also clogged the Ningbo port. According to trader sources, the Yuan and dollar exchange
rates are crucial for Chinese exports due to the possibility of delays in
