Asian LNG prices rebounded on August 18 from a
one-week low but fell below the $20.08/mt jump seen in October ICE Brent crude
futures after the Asian close. In
the face of healthy supply from the US, Middle East, and Asia, only bidders were
present in the physical market. Two Northeast Asian import tenders were also
seen. Second-half September CFR North Asia
propane was up $16/mt, or $675.5/mt Aug. 18. The premium H2 September CFR North Asia propane to September
contract price swaps rose by $4-5/mt to $28.5-32.25/mt Aug. 18. H2 September CFR North Asian butane was valued at $10-15/mt
