Asia prices fall due to lower offersThe week ended July 27, saw a sharp drop in
prices on the Asian polypropylene markets for overseas trade. This was due to
bearish sentiment around the world. Sources
indicated that there was an increase in buyers for imported PP, as prices
dropped to levels comparable with domestic prices. This could indicate that
prices in the CFR market have reached their bottom. China's domestic market has however recovered from a dip
below the Yuan 8000-8500/mt mark over the past week. China's domestic market price remained stable at Yuan 8,050-8,300/mt
week-on-week on July 27. Market watchers
