the close of the week, Nov. 30, The week -on was stable, with
an average demand. The dip in demand was caused by uncertainty about
COVID -19 -related controls. Buyers are mostly covered
for the next month, which has kept prices under control. The CFR FEA
raffia quality remained stable at $880/mt while the PP China domestic raffia
marker increased Yuan 10/mt to Yuan 7,810/mt Nov. 30. A source stated that
China's demand will drop sharply by the end - December. Small convertors will
also shut down operations at the end and beginning of January to avoid the
Chinese New Year...
