spot price at Eur1,100/mt November 8, up Eur100/mt since Nov. 1, at high end of
distributor's indicative range at Eur1,050-1.100/mt. Moving towards producer's
indicative value of Eur1,250/mt with trades also reported at Eur1,300/mt by a
producer. Sources
claim that product availability was low due to high production costs, which
resulted in low operating rates. A
producer stated that there isn't much acetone available. Another market player stated that the demand was strong. The premium for phenol to benzene in Europe fell Eur20/mt
over the week at Eur750/mt FDN WE, within an indicative range of a producer,
putting the premium at Eur700-800/mt. The
