In a mixed energy complex,
Asian toluene prices remained stable on April 26. The ICE June Brent crude oils futures contract fell 8 cents
per day to $100-130/b at 0830 GMT Asian close. Naphtha C+F Japan was $14-16/mt
more during the same period, at $860-870/mt. The CFR Taiwan/China Paraxylene price fell $1-2/mt during
the same period to $1,145-1,175/mt. FOB Korea Isomer-mixed Xylenes prices
dropped $1-2/mt from $1,040-1,080/mt during the same period. FOB Korea toluene was sold at $995-1,025/mt, but there were
no buyers by the end. There were no
trades. A trader stated that there were
some inquiries from the US because of yesterday's low-price marker. Another trader stated that the freight cost to move to the
