key downstream PVC sector.









EDC: EDC supply remained tight and few
offers were available on the spot markets. Producers preferred to offer VCM, citing higher production
margins. Due to low demand, trade in
Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia was slow. Participants indicated that they prefer to wait and watch
for a tender from a Northeast Asian producer. The US spot export EDC price was unchanged at $945-$955/mt FOB USG
on the week of Nov. 30, based on stable pricing indicators and low market
activity. EDC prices in Europe were flat
this week, at $995/mt-$1,000/mt FOB NWE. VCM:
VCM deals were lower week-on-week, reflecting falling prices in the downstream
