Asian toluene prices rose on Sept. 20 due
to stronger crude futures. However, concerns about limited supply outweighed
tighter monetary policies at the upcoming central bank meetings in the UK and
the US. During
the Market on Close assessment, no other transparent bids or offers had been
heard. Sources said that cargoes of
China-origin Toluene were being offered at $1,060/mt CFR Southeast Asia during
the second half of October delivery. However, no deals were made. Sources said that Unv1's CPC issued solvent-mixed xylenes sell tender of 4,500 mt to load either in H1 October or H2 October. FOB
