The spot import prices of ethylene dichloride were stable in the week ending March 13. Buyers were cautious despite the tightening supply due to the weakness of the downstream PVC markets, while ethylene prices dropped during the week. CFR Far East Asia EDC remained unchanged at $225/mt despite a lack of trade talks, while CFRSoutheast Asia EDC remained unchanged at $220/mt. CFR Northeast Asia ethylene dropped $40/mt between March 5 and $860/mt by the 13th.
