August 22 saw Asian LPG prices rise despite
October ICE Brent crude futures sliding 5 cents/barrel since the Asian close.
This was despite Asian LPG prices strengthening. Second-half September CFR
North Asia Propane up $4-5/mt, at $681.50-700/mt Aug. 22. On Aug. 22, the H2 September CFR North Asia propane premium
was steady at $28.50-33.50/mt. The H2
September CFR North Asia Butane was down $4-5/mt to $671.50-690.25/mt. It is
still $10-15/mt lower than propane on Aug. 22. Aug. 22 saw one offer in the physical market. No trade or
bid was made. Matheson Energy offered 46,000 mt propane lots for the first half of October delivery. 50% was offered
