Asian ACN prices stable or firmer amid tight supply and thin demand / Mixed sentiment about market direction hinders trading / Buy-sell indicators thin

The price of Asian acrylonitrile was stable or even higher week-over-week March 25, due to a tight supply and low demand. CFR Far East Asia's marker remained at $1250/mt while CFR Southeast Asia's marker increased $10/mt from $1250/mt in accordance with discussions. The Northeast Asia-Southeast Asia differential was unchanged. A producer offered a sell indication of $1,250/mt FOB Ulsan, while CFR Far East Asia would be around $1,290/mt. No trades were made. The domestic prices in East China increased to Yuan 8800/mt from Yuan 8650/mt last week. This was due to a stable supply and moderately high demand.
