European Recycled HDPE Prices Stable Despite Thin Trading

little trading activity during the week ending February 8. The only buyers
remaining were those who had made voluntary recycled content commitments. Even with the lack of
buyer interest, recycled HDPE pellets still cost a substantial premium to
virgin polyethylene material. According to
a distributor, some activity was observed with major buyers in the consumer
products sector continuing their procurement activities in this market. According to a source, "They want recycled polymers for
products like] shampoo bottles. Because the natural or almost translucent grade
of this material is holding up extremely well and it still carries significant
premium over other grades" Other
