in the week ending Nov. 4. Players are focusing on completing annual contract
negotiations for 2023. Producers
such as Dow are now focusing on high-value feedstock ethylene oxide
applications, while LyondellBasell runs chemical plants at 75% through the
fourth quarter. MEG buyers have committed to 2023 volumes at roughly the same
level as 2022, according to one seller. This is despite initial reluctance. Sources suggest that other producers might be preferring
