polypropylene market. While domestic Chinese prices fell slightly, Southeast
Asian prices are still receiving some support. Yuan 50/mt higher in East
China than the previous week, at Yuan 7900/mt. CFR China prices remained stable
with PP Raffia grades ranging between S940-$950/mt through the week. The bearish mood was amplified by economic data from the
country's National Bureau of Statistics. It showed poorer than expected
performance in key indicators like retail sales and industrial production for
