markets- Limited supply of natural pelletsIn the week ending February 8, spot
activity and buyer appetite remained low in the European recycled
plasticpropylene market. Market dynamics remained dominated by limited
derivative liquidity. Players
noted that there was little room for an increase in recycled material
consumption due to the lack of demand from downstream infrastructure and
construction industries. Players noted a
more muted demand than for recycled polyethylene for R-PP. However, buyers are
still keen to purchase the latter, which is bolstered by some interest from the
