Benzene FOB Korea marker falls $20.33/mt on week / Foreign producer heard seeking selling opportunities in Chinese market

The CFR China phenol marker $10/mt lower week over week at $815/mt and the CFR China
acetone marker $5/mt lower at $650/mt on July 1 amid a weaker Chinese domestic market.
Chinese domestic prices were weaker at around Yuan 6,550/mt for phenol and around Yuan
5,125/mt for acetone, which translated to roughly $750.48/mt and $558.75/mt, respectively,
on an import-parity basis. Both crude oil and naphtha prices fell July 1, with the front-month
ICE Brent futures contract $1.23/b lower on the session as of the Asian close at $66.82/b,
while the C+F Japan naphtha marker was $2/mt lower at $570.75/mt. the upstream benzene
FOB Korea marker down $20.33/mt week over week at $713/mt on July 1, placing the phenol
