prices remained stable at Yuan 9,300-10,000/mt or $1,170-1,200/mt if you
consider import parity. According to
trading sources, China's butadiene production has slowed due to domestic prices
being higher than those in export markets. Spot price discussions were not held on September 13 because
Chinese market participants had just returned from holidays. According to some market sources, October may see a slower
demand than September due to the holiday season. Some end-users may have higher butadiene inventories due to
lower plant operations, which could lead to additional spot butadiene cargoes. The November ICE Brent crude oil futures contract jumped
2.35/barrel on a day to $95.17-100.35/b Sept. 13....
