Asian polystyrene: Stable to $10/mt lower amid sluggish demand Logistic constraints lower the production rate in China Relatively lower domestic prices compared to importAsian general-purpose polystyrene spot price fell by $10-12/mt
last week to $1,500-1,525/mt in China. It was also lowered by $112/mt for that period
to $1.650-1.750/mt in Southeast Asia on April 13. The high-impact polystyrene price
(HIPS), however, was down $10-12/mt this week to $1,540-1,565/mt in China and
dropped $10-12/mt to $1,740-1,755/mt in Southeast Asia. The price of expandable
polystyrene (EPS) was unchanged at $1.625-1.725/mt FOB Northeast Asia, flat at
$1.775-1.875/mt FR grade, and $1,625-1,655/mt fob Northeast Asia for general
