general-purpose polystyrene (or GPPS) spot price was down $20-25/mt over the
week at $1480-1515/mt China. It was also lower by $50-55/ mt during the same
period at $1600-1637/mt Southeast Asia on April 27, at $1,600-1,635/mt CFR
Southeast Asia. The price of high-impact polystyrene (or HIPS) was lower by
$10-15/mt this week at $1530-1567/mt China. It was also down $10-15/mt for
$1,730-1,768/mt Southeast Asia. The price
of expandable polystyrene (or EPS) was down $25-30/mt this week at $1600-1630/mt
FOB Northeast Asia. It fell $25-30/mt to $1,750-1,785/mt April 27 for flame
retardants grades. The Asian GPPS China
