The
Asian general-purpose polystyrene spot price increased by $35-40/mt to $1,485-1,515/mt
China on Wednesday, and by $35-40/mt to $1,635-1,670/mt Southeast Asia on March
2. Meanwhile, the high-impact polystyrene price (HIPS), was up $10-15/mt to
$1,495-1,520/mt China on Tuesday and stable at $1.745-2.250/mt Southeast Asia.
the price of expandable polystyrene was up $25-30/mt this week at $1.545-2.260/mt
FOB Northeast Asia (GP) and $25-30/mt at $1.695-2.250/mt FR grade on March 2. Firm upstream Styrene monomer prices and oil prices
supported the PS market sentiment. Offers were raised by $20-$40/mt this week
