CIF China polyoxymethylene price down $15/mt over the past week to $1,540/mt, below offers of $1,550-1,600/mt. Participants were hesitant to make any decisions, and CIF China's offers were stable or slightly lower. This week, US tariffs have been the major issue. Our customers are concerned about their impact on orders. A Chinese trader said that the procurement process would be further delayed as this was still unclear. A second trader in China agrees, saying "the market has become unclear due to the US tariffs." It's better to wait because of this uncertainty.
