prices stabilized at the close of the week on Nov. 23 but fell over the
following week due to weaker futures, depreciation and weakness of the local
currency. Sources said that this was due to these factors. "Buyers don't want to
rush to buy. A China-based trader stated
that most buyers have already bought large quantities. According to a source, there has been a shift in demand from
low to firm because of uncertainty over COVID-19-related controls. CFR FEA raffia grades fell $15/mt to $880/ mt during the
week, while PP China domestic raffia markers fell Yuan 125/mt from Yuan
