Petronas Chemicals Derivatives is planning to shut down its ethanolamines plant. A source in Malaysia informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the plant by the end of March 2026 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.”Located in Kerteh, Malaysia, the plant has a production capacity of 75,000 mt/year.
