PetroChina Urumqi completes maintenance at PX plant

PetroChina Urumqi Petrochemical has restarted its Paraxylene (PX) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the plant around October 30, 2025. The plant was shut for maintenance in mid-October 2025.” Located in Urumqi, China, the PX plant has a production capacity of 1 million mt/year.
