Petro China Jilin Petrochemical has shut down its Methyl methacrylate (MMA) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has taken the unit offstream around January 26, 2026, for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Jieyang, Guangdong province of China, the MMA unit has a production capacity of 50,000 mt/year.
