PetroChina Jilin resumes operations at No.3 BD unit

PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical has restarted its No.3 butadiene (BD) unit following a turnaround. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have brought the unit on stream around October 30, 2025. The unit was shut for maintenance in end August 2025.” Located in Jilin, China, the No.3 unit has a production capacity of 140,000 mt/year.
