Petro China Hohhot mulls turnaround at PP plant

Petro China Hohhot Petrochemical is planning to shut down its Polypropylene (PP) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the plant in July 2026 for maintenance. The plant is likely to remain offstream for around 7 weeks.” Located in Hohhot, China, the plant has a production capacity of 165,000 mt/year.
