PetroChina Guangxi undertakes planned maintenance at PP unit

PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical has shut down its Polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit on September 20, 2025 for maintenance. The duration of the shutdown has not yet been determined, and no official statement has been released by the concerned authority.” Located in Guangxi, China, the unit has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
