and Europe markets are being viewed by recyclers■ Unstable quality dampens tradeIn the week ending Aug. 3, Asian recycled low-density polyethylene prices fell. China was the main buyer, according to a
trader. The trader also stated that China was the largest market for recycled low-density polyethylene. Sources said that 100% recycled film was not
being traded because of inconsistent mechanical trading. A trader claimed that
shipping costs from Southeast Asia to America were $800/mt (or $20,000/FEU) and
Southeast Asia was $600-$700/mt (or $17000/FEU). An Asia-based trader
stated that arbitrage was difficult due to port congestions and container
