Sanfame Group has shut its Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has halted operations at the unit for maintenance around January 8, 2026. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Jiangyin, China, the PET unit has a production capacity of 750,000 mt/year.
