prices in the Asian RPET market was the rising feedstock costs. However,
recyclers were unable to pass the costs on to consumers. With the return to the Indonesian and Malaysian markets
following Hari Raya Puasa, regional demand will increase. Market players believe that more post-consumer bottles will
be available on the market as a result of the return to travel. The tight supply of high-quality bales at 60 to 75 cents per
kg was a problem that market players expect to get worse as more recycling
