week in Asia's PET markets. Demand and supply fundamentals were stable, so
discussions were limited. Sellers
in the PET bottle market noted that there was a steady stream of inquiries
about September loading cargoes. They also stated that most Augustloading lots
had been purchased. There was a $50-55/mt premium for prompt loading August
shipments. Market sources indicated that
operating rates for PET chips in bottle grade were still high, at an average of
