US spot import polyethylene Terephthalate prices remained flat during the week
of Dec. 21, based on stable pricing indications and thin market activity before
Christmas Day. Based on stable pricing indications of the mid-60 cents/lb,
import PET was valued at $1.433-$1,455/mt (65-76 cents/lb). DDP US West
Coast. Domestic PET prices remained flat at $1,874-1,896/mt (85 to86
cents/lb), based on stable pricing indications within the mid-80c/lb
range. According to a market source, some suppliers have sold their
January and December volumes and are now offering February volumes when market
