Spot negotiations remained weak in the
international market due to a wide gap between selling and buying indications
for the week ending August 17. Producers were heard to have offered
$1,330-$1,350/mt CFR China and $1,450/mt CFR SEA. The situation was similar to
GPPS markets with a wide range of buyer and seller indications. Producers heard that they
were receiving offers of $1,330-1,350/mt. CFR China, and $1.450/mt. CFR SEA.
The situation in the HIPS markets was similar to GPPS markets. There was a wide
range between buyers and sellers. In the expanded polystyrene markets (EPS), EPS
