Sources indicate that South Korea-originbenzene is subject to a 25% duty on imports into the US. This will make it difficult to export Korea-originbenzene to US. Several sources remain skeptical about the exclusionof HS29022000 from Annex II. As stated by a source in the market, "Koreans are likely to seek further clarification from the White House, with the possibilitythatthe White House could overlook the inclusionof Gunvor sold one cargo each to GS Caltexand BP separately for May laycans at $782/mt FOB Korea. Gunvor sold a cargo of June laycans to SKGC for $777/mt FOB Korea.
