Asian benzene prices rose to $26-30/mt on
June 27, at $1,254-1,300/mt FOB Korea. Buyers bid higher. In the morning trading
session, the bid was set at $1250-1280/mt for August cargoes. The September
cargo was offered at $1,217-1,240/mt. The
offer for August cargo was $1,251/mt with a bid of $1,248-1,290/mt at the
market close. Domestic China's spot market
recovered by Yuan 135-180/mt, or Yuan 9,510-9,600/mt, on an import parity
basis, at Yuan 1,234-1,250/mt. The Sinopec
listing price was reduced by Yuan 200-250/mt, to 9,600-9,700/mt. Upstream, the Naphtha benchmark CFR Japan cargo was valued
at $6-7/mt and $824.5-840.10/mt. According
