Asian paraxylene rose $21.75/mt to
$955.92/mt CFR unv1/China Nov. 23. Asian
PX intraday values remained rangebound on Nov. 23, but the Market on Close
process saw January values rise dramatically after the market rebounded from
days of decline. Exxon Mobil, SK Geocentric
and SK Geocentric both registered bids for January cargo. These prices rose
over the course of the MOC process. Both
were traded in the second part of the MOC. Glencore sold January cargo at $963/mt CFR unv1/China to SK
Geocentric, while Mercuria sold January cargo at $962/mt CRU Unv1/China to
Exxon Mobil shortly afterwards. Glencore
