discussing styrene on Sept. 2, with Chinese buyers emerging due to tight domestic
supplies. Producers
in Southeast Asia were reported to be thinking about exporting to India rather
than China, despite tight supply due to low freight rates to India. A number of producers in Northeast Asia expressed interest
in selling on a floating price basis, rather than fixed prices due to market
volatility. China's buyer said that the
current price negotiations were taking place for cargoes arriving in China in
