In the week ending June 8, Asian linear
low-density polyethylene prices were stable to rise as market sentiment
improved following gains in crude oil. Also, there was hope for demand recovery
in China with Shanghai and Beijing emerging from lockdowns. Market sources remain
optimistic about the future despite the slower-than-expected rebound in demand. Although LLDPE was slow this season, sources expect an
uptrend when the next round comes in. LLDPE
prices in South Asia were steady at $1,400-1,430/mt CFR South Asia in the week
up to June 8. After higher trading signals
were heard throughout the day, the Far East Asia LLDPE price was assessed at
