remained stable. The
supply of PET chips in bottle grades remained tight with inventories estimated
at approximately 10 days. This is below the usual levels of 15-20 days. Exports saw strong demand. Market participants stated that there were still backlogs
due to port congestions. This would delay future shipment as some ports
continue to experience manpower shortages. A producer stated that this prompted some buyers to place advance orders for October-loading shipment shipments because it was difficult
