Asian ABS prices unchanged on stable offer / China ABS operating rates up 1.30% Wow on low SM Prices / Market uncertainties due to US tariffs

The Asian ABS CFR China Marker is stable at $1.380/mt on April 2, under the offers of $1.400-$1,420/mt and above a bid indicative heard at $1.360/mt. CFR Southeast Asia stable at $1400/mt on April 2, under offers at $1420- $1440/mt and above an indicative bid heard at $1360/mt. ABS producers maintained their offer levels from the previous weeks. Despite a weakening demand, ABS operating rates in China have been increasing. A market source attributed the increased production to current low SM prices. The downstream acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene market in China saw an increased average operating rate of 67.64% in the week to March 28, up 1.30 percentage points week over week, market sources said.
